The superintendent of the Peninsula,;!ml Orient line has announced that probably the company’s mail boats will discontinue calling' at Hobart, the reason being that the extended service in New ■'Zealand during the summer months makes the stoppage inconvenient. If the mail service is withdrawn the company will run a cargo service to Tasmania.
