ITIHE Wanganui East Borough Council hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to raise a Special Loan (hereinafter citlled “The Traffic Bridge No. 2’ Loan”) of eleven thousand five hundred pounds (.£11,500) for the following purpose that is to say :—■ The erection, construction, and completion of a Traffic Bridge across. the Wanganui River Connecting the Borough of Wanganui East with the Borough of Wanganui from a point 6n -..the Left Bank of the Wanganui River abutting on Lot 3 or Lot 5 of Section 63 on the plan of the Left Bank of the Wanganui River in the Borough of Wanganui East to a point in the Wanganui Borough at the junction or intersection of Dublin Street and the River Bamc Road and the necessary approaches thereto according to a design plans and specifications and conditions prepared by the Public Works Department of the Dominion of New Zealand and iB accordance with Order-in-Council publish' ed in the New Zealand Gazette of dale the 16th day of March, 1911. The said Bridge- is to be constructed by the Wanganui Borough Council in com junction with the Wanganui East Borough Council and is to be so constructed as to allow of vehicular tramway pedestrian and sheep/and cattle traffic. The super' of the bridge is to be built in steel. The work to be undertaken and to be under the control and management of the Wanganui Borougk Council. It is proposed to appropriate and pledge as security for the said Loan and the interest thereon by the periodical payment? as required by “Tho'New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1909” and the amendments thereof and the charges and expenses incident to or connected therewith an annually recurring Special Rate of eightpertce in the £ on tile annual value of all property within tho Borough, of Wanganui East. • The whole of the said Loan is to he repaid in manner as by “The New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1909” .provided within 36£ (thirty-six and onehalf) years from the raising thereof.
