N.Z.L.M.A. CO.’S REPORT. .The usual fortnightly sale was held today, when we submitted fairly large quantities of wool, skins, etc. The attendance of buyers was up to the usual strength, and bidding fairly brisk, but skins were rather lower owing to, disappointing returns from London shipments. • In sympathy with the slight rise in current London sales, prices for wool were rather firmer than last sale. , 1 Crntchings arc now beginning to arrive in small lots, and we expect a good demand will continue for same. We quote Wool.—Crossbred, medium quality 7J-d to BJd per lb, rough and seedy Bid to 7Jd; lambs’, 7d to BJd; pieces, 31d to locks, 3d to 3Jd; crntchings, 4}d to sd. ' ’■ ; We held our fortnightly sale to-day, •when we offered 25 bales of wool, and a large catalogue containing 3250 sheepskins, 630 lades and calfskins, and a quantity of tallow and horsehair. Wool.—Market steady ‘at late rates. We quote: —Medium crossbred, 7d to 8d; inferior, Old to 7d; pieces and bellies. 5d to 51(1; locks, 2d to 31d. Skins.—Only inferior dry skins offering, owing to thevlate period of the season. Butchers’ and freezers’ skins composed a large portion of our offering, and these met with a good sale. We quote:—Halfbreds, 7d to fine crossbreds, 7d to 7Jd; medium crossbreds, 6d to 7d; coarse crossbreds, 6d to 6Jd; dead skins, 5d to old; dead hoggets’, 4d to 4.1 d; quarter to half wools, 4d to 54d; green pelts, 2s 6d to 4s lOd; dry pelts, Is to Is 9d; Iqmb skins, 2s to 3s 7d; lambs’ pelts.
