GOLF.
WANGANUI GOLF CLUB. It has been arranged to have Unofficial opening of these links .on the 22nd April. The course (with the exception of the greens, which have been top-dressed, and only want rain to bring them along) is now in splendid order for play. Ten temporary greens have been opened, and ard now being played upon. The club professional (McEwan) is daily in attendance at his workshop on the links, making and repairing clubs. Hs services are also available for coaching, and it is hoped that members will largely avail themselves of this privilege, and thus improve the standard of play. At present everything points to the club having a most successful season.
