FALSE PRETENCES.

MARTHA TAINUI SENTENCED. (P6r United Press Association). NAPIER. March 27. Martha Tainui, a half-caste Maori, who has victimised tradespeople iu all parts of the Dominion, was to-day sentenced to throe months’ imprisonment for obtaining goods on false pretences. At the expiration of (lie sentence she is to be sent to the New Plymouth reformatory.
