THE CHURCHES.
The morning and evening services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to-morrow will be taken by the Eight Eev. Monsignor Fowler, who is at present touring New Zealand. The Eev. A. S. Wilson (Baptist) will conduct a service at Mars Hill at 3.30 tomorrow afternoon, ■■■.< . The T.Y.M..1. Bible Class will. meet , as usual to-morrow afternoon, when a paper will be read' on Fijian missions. - ’ ■ .. , • At the morning, service at Trinity Wesleyan Church to-morrow, the Eev. J.: A. Luxford will preach on “The Tercentenary of the English Bible.’-’ At the evening service. Miss Gladys Young will sing, by request, “Nearer, My, God, to Thee." An address -will -be. delivered in the Druids’ Hall on Sunday evening, having for its subject, “The Day of Christ Comes as a Thief in the Nig;ht.” A subject: of perennial interest to thoughtful” people will be dealt with at the Theosophical Society’s meeting tomorrow evening; “'■Does Man Determine His Environment?’) is the subject of'the lecture, and it : is one which should provoke more than the usual number of ■ questions; Attention is again directed to the, Lotus class for children at -2- o’clock. ! “What Will- Bring. Peace—Arbitration| or the Sword?” This question forms tile subject for an address to be delivered at Sherriff’s Hall to-morrow evening at 7 o’clock. Questions are solicited at the close of the address.
