MEWHINNEY CASE AGAIN.

WELLINGTON. March 22. Another phase of the well-known Mewhiuucy case was before the Magistrate’s Court to-day, when Oliver Mewhinney and Jeremiah Stevenson were charged with breaking and entering and theft at the dwelling of Nettie Mewhinney, at Seatonn, whore complainant has been living since the divorce proceedings -in May, 1909. It was alleged that defendant broke into the house, and tcok a number of household articles. Mr Wilford is appearing for the defence, and said he would prove that Mrs'.Mewhimiey’s story was a correction. The case is proceeding.
