TENNIS.
- ARAMOHO LAWN TENNIS CLUB. The Aramoho Club are endeavouring to obtain new quarters for nest season, the lease of the ground at present occupied by them having now expired. A sub-committee has had the matter in hand, and as a result, arrangements av.j being made, with tb£ Borough Council, whereby it is hoped (oAjease a part of the borough property near the St. John’s Bowling Club. This site would be very suitable. It is much nearer town that tha present position, and the surroundings are much more inviting. The committee are quite confident that should the club be able to obtain this site, the success of the venture will be assured. The courts, however, cannot be, opened without a big expense. A special general meeting of members is being called for Monday of next week, time and place of which will be duly advertised. It- is intended to submit the proposals to the meeting, and to set up a strong committee to devise means of raising funds. All members are particularly requested to attend and show their approval or disapproval. Past members and well-wishers of the club are also invited.
