i Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April'2B. 'Four prisoners were sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day. Fred Lindsay Backhouse. a young man, was admitted to probation on a charge of forgery and uttering. Peter Neilson and Harold Ketterer, against whom were previous convictions, were sentenced to twelve and nine months respectively on a charge of breaking and entering. Thomas Burns, on a similar charge, was admitted to probation.
