The Amateur Athietie Association discussed a proposal to secede from the New South \V ales Sporting Federation, strong creeption being taken to the latter’s attitude in regard to League footballers. The debate was adjourned to permit of a mail vote by tb#-Australasian Union as to whether the League footballer, even though he received remuneration, is an amateur athlete.
