Gardiner, L, Salter, W. Lawson, H. Brooks, and E..P-. Beauchamp.'' ANNUAL REPORT.—The annual report was read by thc ; School Commissioner, Mr W. A. Collins. It was proposed that the report as read be adopted.—Carried. In ins report the Commissioner referred in eulogistic terms to the teachers, complimenting them on the success attained by the scholars at their last'annual examination. A united protest was made against the Government in reducing the already too small building mintcnance and special capitation grants to School Committees. The following committee were elected; Messrs W. A. Collins (chairman), T. Gar diner, W. Lawson, L. Salter, E.P. Beauchamp, A. C. Stansell- and H. Brooks. In proposing a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman, the mover referred to the lengthy service of Mr W. A. Collins as Commissioner, making special mention of the capable manner and untiring energy shown in carrying out the duties for so long a period.
