Beautifying Society Wanted.

■*<> "TE EDITOB. Sir, —It has often occurred to mo that the Biver Bank parade could he made to look very much brighter than at present. In Christchurch the hanks of the river Avon were in an untidy state until a Beautifying Society was formed and took matters in hand. Now it is the reverse. Why cannot Wanganui have its beautifying society and help improve the appearance of, the town? ■ I would be pleased to give a nnule towards the upkeep of such a society.
