At a meeting of the Professional Board of the Otago University to-day it was decided to nominate Henry .Havelock Cornish, 8.A., of Kaitangata, as the Otago candidate for the Rhodes Scholarship.

PROHIBITION RESOLUTIONS.

(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 4.

The electoral body of the No-license party carried unanimously resolutions expressing warm approval of the resolutions passed at the Wellington Convention, demanding separate ballot papers on the issues of No-license and Dominion Prohibition, and expressing unabated confidence in the leaders of the party, and the belief that their action will prove of great value in the near future.
