Awarua v. Wanganui

The rep. football match to-morrow, Wanganui and Awarua, is exciting much interest in local Rugby circles. Although they do come from the back blocks, the Taihapeites know somethir^ of the art of football/ and included in the team are men who are by no means strangers to Wanganui football, as the names of Milne, Leahy Bros., "Nimble" Hogan, and MeLeod will, testify. Their forward playfairly astonished the Horowhenua and Manawatu Rugby-ites. Competent judges reckon them as one of the finest packs who have ever played on a football field, and local enthusiasts may look forward to a fast and exciting game. '
