BOY SHOT BY HIS BROTHER.

A shockmg fatality occurred at Iroubark Creek, near Wallsend (N.S.W.) on the 12th inst., a boy named David Lowe having his brains blown out by his elder brother. The two brothers and four other

youths, ranging in age from 14 to 18, left "Wallsend on the Friday to go on. a fishing excursion to Raymond Terrace. They were returning, and had almost reached the landing place, when the elder brother Lome noticed a bird* flying near. He picked' up a gun belonging to one of the party and fited a shot, but jniased. He lowered the gun, and was 'just Raising- it again to his shoulder to take a second shot when he accidentally pulled the trigger, and the cha^gsejexploded.
