At Trentbam this morning, Fhtaway went seve*n furlongs in 1.28 2-5. Husbanrtman and Whistlecraft left a mile behind in 1.45, while Kilwinning; and Taskmaster put ip a morning's record for 5 furlongs in 1.1 3-5. Maxtyrium beat Miscast- over 0 furlongs in 1.18, and Xylophone and Diamond Star went 5 furlongs in 1.2. Sir Tristram covored 6 furlongs in 1.18, Kairoma a mile in 1.48, Woodhey 7 furlonga in 1.30, and Mnstcr Soult and Elyeian 6 furlongs in 1.17 4-5. All Red ran away from Diabolo in a 5 furlongs' go in 1.4 2-5. Courier went 6 furlongs in 1.19. Aborigine and Maori King went six furlonga in 1.15J, and Roosevelt 5 furlongs in 1.6.

Bobrikoff, after breakfast, paced by Glissade and Ambola, put up a record for the track, doing 7 furlongs in 1.27 2-5. Sunbonnet beat Aboriginal over five furlongs in I.ls, Consolation doing the same with Merrie Rose in slightly slower time. Ballarat went a strong mile, the last seven furlongs in 1.34 J. Sandstream, at half pace, covered two rounds. Aberbrathock and Perolina ran five furlongs in 1.3 J.
