Tontine PoUcy Holders

(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 3.

A meeting of tontine policy-holders in the Colonial Mutual Life Society was held last evening. A reply was received from the Minister of Justice in response to a recent requisition that their case be inquired into. The policy-holders were now requested to send a representative to Wellington to give evidence before the Public Accounts Committee. The meeting unanimously decided that the Rev. Jas. Wilson be the representative, and that Mr T. J. Mclvor accompany him to Wellington. A telegram was received statin** that the Society also intended to place their views on the matter belore the committee. Evidence will not be taken during the present session of Parliament.
