THE-RIRO-RIROS

This talented company of young girls from the Salvation Army Girls' Home, Wellington, are booked to appear at the Opera House next Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, and after church at 8 o'clock. Major Holdaway, known to Wanganui people as the early day native officer on the river, has the oversight of the company's musical arrangements 1 . Their repertoire includes bellringing, musical and fairy glasses, action songs, poi dances, club swinging, and dialogues. We gather from the reports of other papers where the company have been that their programme is a .genuine • treat and of a very high order, showing careful training. We feel sure that the object for which the company are touring, viz., the raising Of funds for the Army's rescue and prison gate mission, will appeal strongly to the public. On Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock they make their first appearance in the Opera House, and at 8 at night, to give church people a chance of hearing them. For Monday's grand concert the same building has been engaged. Box plan is \now open at H. I. Jones and Son's.
