'As a result .of the self-denial efforj; hi connection with the Dublin Street Primitive Methodist Church, a special gift Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday next. At each service the choir will render select anthems, and the pastor, the Rev. E. Drake, will preach sermons suitable for the occasion. Those who have not seen the Church since its renovation should embrace the opportunity of doing so. On the following Thursday, Octobor Bth, a popular gift sale will be held when needlework, provisions, loliies, etc.. etc., will be displayed for sale in the schoolroom. In the evening the children will render .action 6ongs, and glees will be given by the choir. Afternoon tea and supper will be provided^ and there will be numerous side-shows. By means of these efforts, it is hoped to clear off the floating liabilities in connection with the school building and church renovation scheme.
