All interested in the international language, Esperanto, should make a point of meeting this evening at 7.30 in the Tech-, nical bchool Library. In August the Esperanto Congress at Dresden evoked great interest, an-i the corporation showed its practical sympathy and co-operation by making a donation of .£250 to the Congress expenses, and decided to place the municipal tramways free of charge at the disposal of the delegates, lhe corporation also provided, tree of charge, steamers for excursion on the Elbe to Meissen and Saxon Switzerland. In Japan Count Hayaslii, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in a public letter, recommended his fellowcountrymen to take up Esperanto, which hfe calls the "gospel of the world." These facts show the great hold that the new language is gaining in different parts of the world.
