LONDON WOOL SALES.

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable message from their London office, datad 29th Sep'teraber: — "The wool sales have opened with a good selection. There is a large attendance of buyers and competition is animated, Prjices are unchanged for merinos generally, fine crosabreds. medium and coarse crossbreds, but heavy, earthy, and wasty merinos prices are at par to 5 per cent, lower as compared with the closing rates of last series. Shabby crossbred wools, greasy, also par to 5 per cent, lower. Slipe wools 5 to 7J per cent, lower." i
