The C.C. and D. Company has received the following cable: — The general tone of the frozen meat market is weaker, and the value of mutton and beef has declined. Today's quotations are: — Best Canterbury mutton 4d, Napier, Wellington, and North Island 34d; lamb—first s£d, second 5Jd; beef — hinds 4d, fores 3sd.
