(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 30. Mr W. T. Wood's enquiries with reference to the Manawatu railway tariff of the ftttnre have elicited information that when the railway' is taken over by the Government, goods conveyed over that line will be subject to the Government scale of cnarges in operation at that time.
