OTAGO CENTRAL LEAGUE DISAPPOINTED.

(Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, September 30.

At a meeting of the Otago Central League to-night the following resolution was carried: — "That the committee of the Bailway League expressed a keen sense of disappointment at the Parliamentary vote that the- Government propose to place on the Estimates tor the Otago Central Bailway. The vote is merely intended to clear off the liabilities at present existing without any provision for continuance of the work, and farther, the members of the Jjeugoe are even more greatly disappointed at no definite promise being made ! y the Government that work on the line v'ill be .resumed in the near future."
