Successful Municipal Venture.
WELLINGTON, April 8
Discussing the electriqtlighting plant, the Mayor said the first year's work would prove most successful. The Council would be able to pay seven per cent, interest, two per cent, on the sinking fund, and would have from .£12,000 to ,£15,000 surplus in addition.
