V very pretty wedding took place at St. .John's Church/ Wanganui. on Wednesday. June 12th. the contracting parties being •ir George Boberts, second hon of Mr G. Pioberts. of Sydney (X.S.W.), and Mis-. Hosina (Ko~y) Sj"ii:s, the third daughter ot Mr T. Sparks, ol Wanganui. The Rev Ward ivib the officiating clergyman. Ihe nude, who was given away by her lather, was attired in a veiy pretty grey silk civponne, trimmed with silk and lace with ;-at to match. Misses May and Ivy >j'ark«s, lister-, of tiie bride, were bikit-fe-niaitls. The former wore a pretty dress ol pale green, trimmed with silk and lace, aid the latter cream voile. Mr J. Rob-e-Is filled the duties of beet man. Tlip gilt of the bridegroom to the bride was v lovely gold brooch, set with diamonds, nud to the bridesmaid as gold curb bangle.
