The Times* Simla correspondent says that sedition is restricted to the educated middle class. The agitators are systematically canvassing villagers and trying to capture the sympathy of the natives. There is no indication of the army coquetting with the movement. The agitators did not anticipate the Hon. John Morley's strength and purpose. Some now suggest a three months' incubation of fresh schemes. The situation displays coiiaiderabel gravity. English newspapers warmly approve the Hon. John Morley's speech and action.
