Fatal Accident at Gisborne.
GISBORNB, March 21.
Mr Sharp, a traveller for the Phoenix Company, died in the Hospital to-night from fracture of the skull, through a collision between the horse he was riding and a horse and buggy. No further particulars are obtainable to-night. GISBORNE, March 22. A well-known commercial traveller, M» Andrew Sharp, representing the Phoenix Corny., Dunedin, met with a fatal accident at 6 o'clock >^»8t evening. He had been visiting a-'ctnmtry customer, riding 1 rather a high-spirited horse, which, -when he mounted, bolteft T^ith him. Approaching a trap going in the same direction the runaway swerved,, and Sharp cams off on his' head, striking the wheel «f a> vehicle violently, fracturing the base of his skull.
