FIRES.
(Per United Press Association). DUNEDIN, September 20. The Volunteer Drill Hall at Palmerston was destroyed by fire at 3 o'clock this morning. The building, valued at .£3OO, was insured for j£l9o in the Royal office. The contents, the property of the Town Band, 1.0. G.T. Lodge, and local volunteer corps, and valued at about .£290, were uninsured.
