Unpleasant Proposals,
(From Our Parliamentary Special). (By Telegraph.) WELLINGTON, September 18
I understand the sitting of the Land Committee this morning was not a r levant one. It is stated that the Committee only carried the short title of the Bill and that after a long discussion they adjourned, against the wish of the Minister. There is any quantity of evidence that the Hon. McNab's statement at Shannon, last evening, that there was going to be a "big row," will be more than fulfilled.
