The great interest displayed in the forthcoming season of drama at the Opera House, Wanganui, which is announced for Saturday and Monday next is a sure augury of success. Miss Tittell Brune, supported by Mr. J. C. Williamson's powerful dramatic company, is an attraction which has been most heartily welcomed by theatre-goelfs throughout Australasia.

During the season of two nights two magnificent plays will be presented for the first time in Wanganui.

The opening production, " Dorothy Vernon of 11 addon Hall," is a spectacular drama of high repute, the scene of which is laid in cne "spacious times of Great Elizabeth," who figures on the stage with other great personages. The costumes bi'long to the most picturesque period of English history, and in every way the presentation is likely to please a popular audience. A 6 " Dorothy Vernon," Miss Tittell Brune has substantially augmented her already brilliant reputation dimng the recent successful runs of the piece in Melbourne and Sydney, and its present phenomenal season in Wellington, where it packed the Opera House for six consecutive nights. The second production is the famous play "Leah Kleschna," which is a powerful play with a po"werlul plot, and interpreted by a powerful company. Miss Tittell Brune in tho part of 'Leah" is said to Tiave made one of her most striking successes. The box plans are now open at Messrs. Jones and Son's.
