SUDDEN DEATH.

It is with extreme regret we^have to record the painfully sudden death this morning of Mr George Rowley Boulton, accountant of th© Bank of New South Wales. It appears that the deceased gentleman was apparently in his usual state of halth when he sat down to breakfast at his home on the River Bank this morning, but shortly afterwards without any warning fell in a faint, and though medical aid was at once summoned life was extinct before any assistance could be rendered, the cause' of death being apoplexy. Tho deceased was well "and favourably known especially amongst the business section of the community, and the news of his demise created a painful sensation. The lato Mr Boulton, who had been seven or eight years stationed in Wanganui, was an old and highly respected servant of the Bank, which he first joined in 1874, and had held various responsible positions in the service all over the colony. He waa very well known on the eWst Coast of the South Island, where he was formerly stationed for some years. In his early days tho deceased took an active part in rowing and athletics in Canterbury. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn hits loss, and wf» join with their many friends in expiessing our sincere sympathy with the bereaved in the terrible blow which hns so suddenly deprived them of a fond husband and loving father.
