FOOTBALL.
The match to be played next Saturday between the veterans of the Kaierau Club and the club's Benior team is being looked forward to with great interest. The veterans will piut a very strong team of "has beens" into the field, and are sure to keep the Senior Cup winners very busy so long as their condition lasts; in fact, it is quite on the cards that they will prove equal to winning the game, which should be a particularly interesting one. As the gate proceeds are to go to the Hospital fund, it is hoped that there will be a large attendance.
The Auckland Racing Club has resolved to build a new totaliaator house at a cost of J61595.
