WANGANUI HORTICULTURAL SHOW
The Horticultural Show was concluded "last evening, there Tjeing a large attendance. The were enlivened by songs by 3u.r Ju.. V. Duigan and Mr &. Oroombridge, the accompaniments being played by Mr and Mrs O'Hara. A hattrimming competition for men was won by Mr T. Craig, Mr Quigley coming second, and Mr A. Cummins third, whilst the Jollie-giiessing competition was won by Miss Gladys Christie, who guessed the correct number, 374. Miss W. Drew won the oake weight-guessing competition, guessing three ounces over the correct weight. 81bs. The Committee wish specially to thank Mr W. S. Duetin for a cake as a pri^e for the hat-trimming, and Mrs Hogg for the cake she presented for the prize for the weight-guessing.
