(Per United L'reas Association.") AUCKLAND, December 2. Mr Dyer has given his reserved judgment in the "Parliamentary Shield" case. He said it was purely a question whether the scheme was a lottery within the meaning of the Act. There, was an element of chance in the selection, of the candidates, but corresponding skill and judgment was requisite to --select.- the successful candidates. The .case -was therefore dismissed. 'Hie remaining information was withdrawn.
