FEILDING J.C. SPRING MEETING.

FEILDING, November 30.

The weather was fine for the second day of the Feilding meeting. There was a strong wind all day. The course was fair, and the attendance good. The totalisator machined .£10,992 during the day, the total for the two days being ,£21,600, a decrease of .£750 on the corresponding" meeting of last year. Results: — York Stake 3. — Delamere 1. Gawain 2, Stronghold 3. All started. A good race, won easily. Time, lmin 20^sec. Dividends, £6 and £1 2s. Nikan Hack Handicap. — Mereshot 1, Tautoru 2, Flotilla 3. Scratched— Pretty Maid, and Bourrasque. Dulcinea was left at the post. Waipunehu and Aorangi were prominent for two furlongs. Won easily by a length and a half. Time, Irnin 36 2-ssec. Dividends, £7 6s and £2 12s. Manchester Handicap. — Armistice 1, Submarine 2. St. Joe 3. Scratched— Flamen and Tikirawa. St. Joe led at the start, Armistice being third entering the straight. A close finish. Won by a head. Time, lmin 36 2-ssec. Dividends, £7 (js and £2 12s. Cheltenham Hurdles. — Pushful 1. Eepulse 2, Kohonui 3. Scratched — Lady's Link. Valima, when leading, fell at the firat hurdle. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min 32sec. Dividends, £2 8s and *1 4s. Eongotea Hack Hurdles. — Apiti 1, Sleep well 2, Flanagan 3. Scratched : Gold Dust. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 57sec. Dividends, ,£l7 4s and 13s. Welter Hack Flat. — Bourrasque 1, Ilatley 2, Barca 3. Scratched— Dalky. Hatley made the running to the straight. A close finish. Won by a neck. Time, 2min 4 3-ssec. Dividends, £2 2s and ,£4 4s. Railway Welter.— Wind 1, Ropa 2, St. Albert 3. All started. Wind took command at the two furlongs, and Avon by half a length.
