Liquor Corrections.

Sir, — I was much interested in the advertisement of the Liquor party which was published last night (November 28th). There were two sentences that amazed me — "The No-control party accused us of giving forth that 1000 people were «i:> ployed in tho trade in Wanwanui. We mentioned 300. with 1000 dependents." I turned up the issue of the "Herald" for November 13th, road the liquor advertisement, and found these words — "Wanganui is the fifth town in New Zealand. No-license would ruin a number of good citizens, throw over 1000 citizens out of employment. . . . Will you be a party to robbing 1000 fellow-workers of their living?"' Does the advertisement in November 13th refer to workmen in the moon or in Wanganui? I suppose that this is a specimen of that wonderful love of truth about which we hear so much. But the people have to decide whether licensles shall continue or not. — I am, etc. ALPHA.
