At the Supreme Court, Robert "WheJan and Edmund Waller w-er-e charged witli d-a-frauding their employ&rs (Hollaby and Co., Ltd.) of certain quantities of meat, and were sentenced to two years' imprisonment each.

Thomas Butler and Thomas Hourahan were charged at tho Police Court with trespassing on the Taihune Racecourse and refusing to leave, and were remanded on the application of Mr Sim (for informants) for eight days. David Alexander Elliott, charged with wife desertion, was remanded to appear at Wellington on Friday.
