MELBOUENE, November 25. The half-yearly meeting of the Mount Lyell Company shows that the net profits for the six months have touched high water mark. The Company's operations amounted to J-188,578, or .£42,000 more than the previous half year. In view of "thi; very sound condition of the finances th' 6 directors felt justified in recommending a dividend of 9d per share in addition to the usual dividend of Is 6d per share. The report was adopted.
