Gordon (Nsipior) beat Wostmi (Ngnmotu); Burns (Auckland) boat Reid (Wellington); Gillies (Auckland) beat Col. Gorton (Manawatu); Bedwoll (Manawatu) beat Jameson (Christchurch) ; A. Duncan (Wellington) boat J. Burt (Dunedin): Wood (Napier) beat Strung Manawatu) bye; rr J 'arena (Napier) beat Coates (Auckland) bye; Heather (Auckland) beat McEwen (Wellington), bye; Borthwick (Christchurch) beat Monro (Slanawatu), bye; Fisher (Duncdiu), the present champion, beat Turner (Auckland); Kawhi (Napier) beat Pearce (Wellington); K. Duncan (Wellington} beat Colbeck (Auckland). In the hist match, Duncan holed with a very long cut of 30 yards, and won the ma tcli, one up. Tho 18-holo course this morning was at first soft, but is now hardening. The second round will be played this afternoon.
