All members of the St. Andrew's 11. are requested to be on the. College ground at 1.30 p.m. sharp , to-morrow. Mr W. E. McKenzie left by the Rarawa from Onehunga yesterday afternoon, says Thursday's N.Z. Hsrald, to join tho Auckland representative football team. Ho will play in the Wellington and Wanganui matches as wing three-quarter, There was a great number of friends on the wharf to se© him off.
The member for the district (Mr A. D. Willis) wired Mr Mackay tlii3 morning to the effect that notwithstanding the strong opposition by Mr Remington, the Suburbs Lighting Bill waa safely piloted through Committee in the House yesterday, and the Bill is now safe.
