PERSONAL.
The very many friends in Wanganui of the Rev. G. Bond will regret to hear that his illness is of such a serious nature that the members of the family have been summoned to Wellington. We sincerely trust that the skill of his medical adviser and careful nursing will prevail, and hope soon to hear of his speedy recovery.
Dr Mason, Chief Health Officer, who is recovering from a serious illness, will shortly pay a visit to England on sick feive. It is expected he' will be absent from the colony for about six months.
