LADIES' TOURNAMENT.

NAPIER, August 24.
.The Ladies' Hockey Tournament was concluded on the Recreation Ground today. ;,The second eleyens of.,. the Maroro and Girls' High School Clubs played a match which resulted in a win for the Maroros by two goals to one. The Maroro. and Huia first elevens played a good game, the former winning by five goals to nil.
The Craven School team (Palmerston North) proved much too good for the Napier Girls' High School first eleven, defeating them by eight goals to nil.
As all the local matches are to be played on the Racecourse to-niorrow, players are notified that the games must be started punctually to time.
B.Y.M. team to play Eastown: — Horsley (2), Gichard, Carrad, Harris (2), Oliver, Henderson, Taylor, Dewdney, and Holland; emergency, Simmonds.
The following will represent the Wanganui Saturday team in their match with T.Y.M.I. at 3.50 p.m. on the Racecourse to-morrow Cave, Tarrant, Holloway, Bannister, Vallance, Bullock, Hardwicke, Ryan, Thorpe, and McLean.
