OUR VOLUNTEERS.
The committee of the N.C.O.'s Club have finally decided to hold their grand Vdlunteor Tug-of-war on Thursday, the 7th September next. No less than nine teams have entered for the two competitions, viz., four for the open pull and five for .the 11-stone pull, and the contests promise to be exceedingly interesting. Teams from the different companies of the Battalion are now hard at work practising ,in view of the approaching contest.
