SENIOR GUP. Waverley v. Old Boys, at Waverley. Kaierau v. T.Y.M.1., on College No. 1, at 1.30. Wanganui v. Pirates, on tho Rec, at 3 p.m. College, a bye. JUNIOR CUP. Kaierau v. Wanganui, final, on the Rcc, at 1.30. Pirates v. Old Boys, on College No. 1, at 3 p.m. Waverley v. College, at Wavcrloy.

The Rev. C. C. Harper, of Palmerstou North, has been appointed by the New Zealand Union to act as referee in the Wanganui-Auckland match.

The following will play for the Pirateseniors on Saturday against Wanganui: — Seeling, Smith, Mellior, Holland, Dowe, Mitchell, McGregor, Watson, Small, Buckingham, Wainwright, Robinson, Dustin, and G. Thompson. Emergencies — Prideaux and Dowe.

The match .between the Australians and a combined Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast team was to have been played at Nolson this afternoon. The Australians should have been seen to better advantage at Nelson to-day than they were at Wellington, and as their opponents would probably be lacking in combination it would not come as a surprise to hear that the visitors had won. The result will be posted in Mr J. Goss's wiudow tonight,.as will-also the res'ufts 6i the'Auck-land-Taranaki and the Wellington-Hawke's Bay matches providing they come to hand.

On account of the Hunt Club Races the Thursday Shield match will be postponed until Thursday, August 31, when the final will be played between Kia Toa and M2lrose.

The following will play for the Kaicrau Juniors in their match -"against the Wanganui Juniors on Saturday uext: — Readc, Kilpatrick,- O'Donnell, Laird, Irvine, McLean, O'Halloran, Suitor, Brocket, Joyce, Wright, Bellamy, Capel, Piercy, and Acheson. Emergencies — Backs, Janro and Woon; forwards, O'Donnell and McDonald. The above players are reminded of the practice to be hold in the training hall, Taupo Quay, on Friday night, at 7.30.

All members of the Wanganui 111. are requested to roll up for practice to-night at 8 o'clock in the training hall on the Quay. It is important that all members should attend.

All members of the Wanganui Football Club are specially requested to attend the practice to be held in the premises lately occupied by Mr Andrews on Taupo Quay. Senior and junior players must attend.
