Received August 12, 8.37 a.m. NEW YORK, August 11. Tlie American Consul-General reports that th© Chambers of Commerce at Shanghai ar© unable to stop th© boycott of American goods. The students, control the situation, and th© Chines© officials are inactive. The Consul fears that th© boycott "will extend to other foreign goods.
