Girl Charged with Cattle Stealing.
WOODVILLE. July 20. A young woman named Matilda McLellan was charged this morning at the S.M. Court with cattle stealing at Kinneroa. Ilic girl, when arrested, said she bought the cattle from a man on tho road for 503 each, and drove thorn to Pahiatua. wlier<» ahe sold Ihom for 50s each. J!he withdrew the- statement as to buying the 3attle from a man, and, pleaded guilty. She wa3 committed for sentence at the Supremo Court in Wellington on the 31st instant, and was admitted to bail.
