ALCOHOLIC POISONING.

A remarkable case of fatal alcoholic poisoning has occurred at Burra, Upper Murray. A little boy named Heinicke, aged three, wont into the kitchen to get a drink early in the morning, before his parents were up. The child seized a bottle of rum standing on the shelf, and drank some of the contents. He fell into a deep sleep and began to froth at the mouth. When the parents discovered the cause they took the child to the nearest town, where modicul aid was available, but the boy died tinsame night.
