A' sensational tragedy occurred in Guildford Police Court (W. A.), on April 27th. A woman named Mildred Amy Gleeson was to appear on a charge of committing bigamy. Wlien being searched in the anteroom Mrs Gleeson became unconscious. Medical aid was summoned, but before the doctor's arrival life was extinct. The appearance suggested poisoning, and cyanide of 2Jota«3ium wag'>f.ound in. a pocket of deceased, also a fully loaded revolver. The deceased had a private income and owned shares in the ' Great Boulder Company.
