ASSAULT AND ROBBERY.

THAMES, May 10. John Lemcne reported to the police that while riding a bicycle home down the coast last niglit his machine was upset, and he was set upon by two men. A violent^ struggle ensued, a>nd Lemone was badly knocked about. At last one of his assailants garrotted him and threw Lemone, whlie the second man robbed him of all valuable cash. There is no trace of the* offenders. i
